제목 Effect of Photo-initiators on Film and Adhesion Properties of Photo-curable Epoxy
초록 Photo-curable adhesives are widely used in automotive, electronics and fine-chemicals industries due to advantage of volatile organic compound (VOC) free and convenience for process operation. We have been interested in light source such as UV, LED, visible light and photo-curable materials. Photo-curable epoxy was synthesized from phloroglucinol, drived from wasted trinitrotoluene. In this research, photo-curable epoxy was applied for two kinds of light sources, UV and LED. We investigate that adhesion behavior between polycarbonate substrates and surface film properties on polycarbonate sheet as hard coating material. Furthermore, we observed curing kinetics of epoxy material as adding the photo-initiators into epoxy resin. Finally we studied that effect of photo-initiator on mechanical properties such as pencil hardness and adhesion strength.
