Preparation and Characterization of Nanostructured Supramolecular Glucose-Based Polymers |

Glucose-based polymers are interesting materials for applications in many fields such as textiles, cosmetics, and particularly pharmaceutical and food industrial areas, In this study, we investigated the influence of different experimental parameters on the formation of supramolecular glucose-based polymers in water. The polymer materials obtained under different conditions were analyzed by UV-visible, FT-IR, and NMR spectroscopy, TEM, SEM, and GPC. It was found that the polyreaction was influenced by several parameters such as reaction time and concentration. The results are expected to be relevant for the preparation of glucose-based polymers. |
