제목 | Isothermal Crystallization Behavior of Poly(vinyl alcohol)/clay nanocomposites |
초록 | Polar Polymers such as Poly(vinyl alcohol) has strong molecular interactions. It lowers the oxygen gas solubility. The crystalline behavior of PVA affected from addition of clay. In this reason, PVA can be used to improve the oxygen barrier properties of a material. In this study, Poly(vinyl alcohol)/clay nanocomposites were prepared as a function of clay contents in the PVA matrix. Silicate layers of clay affected PVA crystallization behavior. As dispersion of silicate in the PVA matrix, it disturbed formation of crystalline that decreasing enthalpy of PVA. As a function of kinetic value can be obtained and calculated, based on the Avrami theory. Kinetics was evaluated by Avrami parameters n and k were determined experimentally. Avrami exponent was calculated at different annealing temperatures. |
