제목 | Numerical Study on Sulfur and Carbon deposition in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells |
초록 | As the solid oxide fuel cells are considered as the next power generator for their high efficiency and flexibility of their fuels, the essential problems like sulfur and carbon deposition in the system has been subjected in research. High operating temperature of SOFC enable the internal reforming reaction at anode supported layer and the presence of sulfur and carbon in fuels influence the active surface area of the cell. In this research, the SOFC degradation mechanisms of sulfur and carbon were evaluated. The influence of the sulfur and carbon deposition inside the system was considered in various operating temperature.
