제목 Preparation of Au-coated TiO2 nanoparticles for IVD testing
초록 Au, in a veriety of form, has been used in medicine throughout the history of civilisation [1]. Au coated on TiO2 nanoparticles can be used not only in catalytic field but also in IVD testing due to the available interactions between AuNPs and biomolecules [2,3]. Au coated on TiO2 can be prepared by various methods, such as cation adsorption (CA), depositionprecipitation with urea (DP urea) or NaOH (DP NaOH) [4]. For the DP urea method, the progressive decomposition of urea in solution at temperature above 60oC releases OH- ions, which gradually increase the pH. This method makes possible the slow precipitation of hydroxides onto the support, and avoids a brutal and local increase of pH, which could induce precipitation in solution. The reaction was taken place with or without reducing agents.
