Organic-solvent-free redox mediators based on a Cu complex and ionic liquid were applied to hybrid solar cells (HSCs), and addition effects of metal bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (TFSI) to the redox mediators were investigated. A LiTFSI-containing HSC showed a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 1.98%, resulting from 5.85 mA/cm2 of the short-circuit current (Jsc), 0.602 V of the open-circuit voltage (Voc) and 56.18 % of fill factor (FF). On the other hand, the PCE of a CuTFSl-containing HSC was increased to 2.31% (Jsc = 4.76 mA/cm2, Voc = 0.652 V and FF = 74.33 %) due to an enhancement in both Voc and FF. Meanwhile, the PCE of a CoTFSI-containing HSC was decreased to 0.85% (Jsc = 3.00 mA/cm2, Voc = 0.548 V and FF = 48.41 %). |
