제목 | Efficient and Selective Synthesis of 2,6-Dimethylnaphthalene (2,6-DMN) |
초록 | 2,6-Dimethylnaphthalene (2,6-DMN) is an important raw material for the synthesis of polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) which is used as special films, fibers and new engineering plastics. 2,6-DMN was selectively synthesized in overall 64% yield over two steps. 2,6-DMN was prepared by catalytic Friedel-Crafts intramolecular cyclization of the γ-aryl aldehyde resulted from a ligand-free Heck reaction. |
