Description of Molecular Interactions between Lipid Bilayers and Ionic Liquids Using model Protein |
| 초록 |
Ionic liquids(ILs) have been accepted as green chemical that can replace the organic solution with their special properties. However, bio-indegradablity, derived its high stability, may cause persistent problem with cells remain rather long. Actually, toxicity of ionic liquid has been reported in recent diverse bacteria and zebra fish. We believe that the impact on those cells affected by the disturbance of the membrane. Membrane proteins, directly related to life activities, are very sensitive to interference of membrane. Therefore, it is necessary to effect the ionic liquid membrane protein is measured and we chose gramicidin A(gA) a material that can represent most types of membrane proteins. The impact on gA of ILs were standardized and quantified through a fluorescence method utilizing stop-flow spectrometer and electrical method utilizing axopatch. |
