The tritium, contained in wastewater discharged from nuclear power plant, is one of the important problem as radioactive material. However, unfortunately the most separating method used high energy such as heat or electricity. In order to solve these energetic problems, well-designed hydrogen-bondable polymer containing carboxylic groups was synthesized. In addition, the porous structure based on this polymer was fabricated using HIPE method to increase separation ability. For the evaluation of separation ability, the model system using mixture of deuterium oxide and water was used because the tritiated water couldn’t be used without permission. Furthermore, advanced analysis method based on FT-IR was designed to simply evaluate separation ability of medium. The correlation between deuterium oxide and water was defined through equation at equilibrium and then How to calculate fraction of deuterium oxide and water in mixture was designed using FT-IR spectrum area of them. |
