Fluorescence enhancement of DNA-templated silver nanoclusters for nanomolar silver ion detection and its mechanism study |
초록 |
A rapid, homogeneous, and in-situ labelable format design to detect silver ion is presented. Fluorescent silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) produced following hydride-mediated reduction of silver ion bound to a cytosine-rich oligodeoxynucleotide (C-rich DNA) was employed as probes for silver ion sensor. Also the sensing mechanism based on the fluorescence enhancement of AgNCs through dimerization of both DNA is elucidated by mass spectrometry, circular dichroism and DNA hybridization analysis. The silver ion detection system is developed by platform of fluorescence “turn-on” assay. The quantum yield of silver ion detected DNA-AgNCs probe is calculated as 43.9 % relative to Rhodamine 6G. Also utilizing the fluorescence enhancement of DNA-AgNCs by silver ions addition, we suggest a quantitative silver ion detection method which has low detection limit as 10 nM. |
