RGD Peptide Conjugated Chitosan Nanoparticles to angiogenesis |

Targeted polymeric gene delivery system, chitosan-PEG-RGD was developed by incorporating the αvβ3 integrin-binding RGD peptide (A dimeric RGD peptide, H-Glu[cyclo(Arg-Gly-Asp-D-Phe-Lys)]2, was recently reported to possess high affinity for αvβ3 integrin, into the cationic polymer, CPRGD via a hydrophilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer. We synthesized chitosan-PEG-RGD conjugate and the physicochemical properties of the chitosan-PEG-RGD were investigated by using 1H-NMR, Dynamic light scattering and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM). The LMPR Nanoparticle was investigated to gene carrier. |
