제목 Delayed Catalyst System for Polyurethane Synthesis using Catalyst-Encapsulated Microcapsule Prepared using Inorganic-Organic Hybrids
초록 The polybutadiene chain of HTPB (Hydroxy-terminated Poly Butadiene) is widely used as a binder for polymer-bonded explosives (PBX) through polyurethane synthesis with IPDI (Isophorone Diisocyanate) due to its excellent mechanical properties.  It is necessary to delay the reaction at room temperature by controlling the initial reaction and the reaction rate so that the polyurethane does not cure during charging of the complexing agent to the body, and it should show a fast reaction rate at 50 to 60 ° C.
In this study, we fabricated an organic-inorganic hybrid solution by using Hydrosis-Polycondensation reaction using precursor and TEOS, and carried out the organic and catalyst into prepared solution to make core-shell type particles. The core-shell particles made by this method can regulate the reaction rate by adjusting the amount of catalyst released and the rate of release of the catalyst under thermal conditions, and the structure and various physical properties are investigated.
