Electrochemical dopamine-sensing surfaces were fabricated by deposition of Fe-Fe3C modified Carbon (Fe-Fe3C@C) on glassy carbon electrodes. Differential pulse voltammetry was used to detect dopamine (DA) and the influence of pH value, scan rate, and dopamine concentration on the performance of Fe-Fe3C@C electrodes was investigated. The as-prepared electrode was able to detect dopamine in linear range from 4 to 200 μM with a low detection limit of 200 nM. Moreover, Fe-Fe3C displayed excellent selectivity for DA in the presence of interfering agents such as ascorbic acid and uric acid. The practicality of the Fe-Fe3C sensor was evaluated by analysing DA in urine containing electrolyte, and the recovery above 95 % was obtained. |
