제목 Nanoscale Blue-Emitting Organic Particles and Their Electroluminescent Application
초록 Materials for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) have attracted more attention in the field of novel optical and optoelectronic devices. Especially, blue-emitting OLED materials attract the attention that show high absorption efficiency in short wavelength and high energy emitting species. Alongside the development of nanotechnology, more effort was put into the synthesis of nanostructures for potential applications in nanodevices. In this study, we used tri (phenyl-methyl-benzimidazolyl) iridium (Ir(pmb)3), one of the blue-emitting OLED material, to fabricate the blue-emitting nanoparticle prepared by reprecipitation method. Nano-scale (~150 nm) blue-emitting nanoparticles were fabricated and their electroluminescent properties were also studied. Through the results, we are afford to expect the deep blue-emitting nanoparticles to be utilized in nano-optoelectric device.
