Digital light process of meta-surface-based polarization converter |
초록 |
3D printing technology is a technology that laminates controlled materials for each layer to produce a three-dimensional shape. This technology is used in various application fields because it has the advantage of being able to implement a complex shape and reduce the manufacturing time by enabling rapid modification of the design. In this work, a multilayer structure having meta-surface patterns were 3D-printed by digital light processing (DLP) method to fabricate a dual-polarization converter that consists of top and bottom layers with dipole antenna arrays and a conductive shieling layer that prevents the cross-talking of the antennas. The antenna-array patterns and the shielding layer were filled with silver paste and liquid metal by extrusion-based printing injection molding, respectively. The electronic properties such as dielectric constant and conductivity of the materials used in the printing of the polarization converter were experimentally measured and used in the simulation to forecast the functionality of the polarization converter. The performance of the 3D-printed polarization converter was measured and compared to the simulation output to confirm the practical applicability of the 3D-printed meta-surface structure. |
