제목 | Hydroxyl-rich porous organic nanofiber polymers for superfast capture of pharmaceutical contaminants from water |
초록 | Developing efficient and economical adsorbents for the removal of pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) from waste water is an environmentally important and challenging issue. In this study, novel hypercrosslinked hydroxyl-rich porous organic polymers (HPOPs) were synthesized through Friedel-Crafts reactions as potential adsorbents for PPCP capture. Remarkably, HPOP-3, denoted as porous organic nanofiber (PONF), showed superior adsorption capacities for three model PPCPs compared to the most of benchmark materials. PONF exhibited superfast adsorption kinetics, excellent selectivity against other possible contaminants in wastewater, and good reusability over 10 cycles.
