제목 Synthesis andStructural Analysisof Ladder-like Polysilsesquioxane (LPSQ)and Their Various Applications as FunctionalHybrid Materials.
초록 Ladder-like polysilsesquioxanes (LPSQ) are important organic/inorganic hybrid materials because of their excellent physical and chemical properties rendered by their unique double-stranded backbone. As early as 1960, Brown et al. first reported the synthesis of a soluble ladder-like LPSQ via ‘equilibration polymerization’ using a trichlorosilane monomer at high temperature over 200oC. However, synthetic LPSQ using the ‘equilibration methods’ had drawbacks of producing LPSQs with insecure chemical structure and unstable gelation properties in atmospheric environments, as well as complicated synthetic methods. In this presentation, we report the simple and mild synthetic method of LPSQ that has various organic pendent groups. Synthesized LPSQ showed diverse physical properties such as thermal stability and organic pendent isolation effect. For details structural analysis, LPSQ series were characterized by 1H NMR, 29Si NMR, GPC, FT-IR, TGA, DSC, SAXS and XRD.
