Organic solar cells (OSCs) are currently an attractive field of research due to advantages such as solution process, ease of fabrication and potential of flexible device. At present, many studies have been conducted on designing materials and optimizing device structure, which achieve high efficiencies upto 12%. In inverted structured OSCs, hole extraction layer (HEL), PEDOT:PSS, with high conductivity and transparency, was introduced on photoactive layer via solution process. However, the corrosive nature of PSS is harmful for photoactive layer with respect to stability of device. It can be good alternative that introducing modified HELs that hybrid with polyelectrolytes, metal oxides via solution process in ambient atmosphere. In this study, we fabricated OSCs with conjugated polyelectrolytes and metal oxide hybrid HELs to enhanced performance and stability in ambient atmosphere. As a result, hybrid HEL introduced device exhibited enhanced stability than PEDOT:PSS based device. |
