Analysis of surface roughness of paper by direct contact method using metal probes |
초록 |
The most commonly used methods on smoothness and roughness of paper and board materials are three types of air leakage method; Bendtsen roughtness, Bekk smoothness and Parker print-surf roughness. Bendtsen roughness is achieved by indirect method measuring the rate of airflow in ml/minute between the paper and head. Bekk smoothness is measured by the air leak method but, air is drawn across the surface of the test piece under a partial vacuum. Parker print-surf roughness is designed specifically for measuring the surface roughness of printing papers. In this study, the direct contact method using the different types of metal stylus tips was considered as a new analytical method for measuring the rough surfaces of paper and board. |
