Three Dimensional Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) Nanostructures for Electrochromic Devices |
초록 |
Three dimensional (3D) poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) can be useful for electrochromic devices which exhibits reversible changes of transmittance and reflectance upon doping at low operational voltages (< 1 V). The difference in optical properties between the doped and neutral states of PEDOT can be enhanced and engineered by structuring PEDOT in the form an inverse opal. Here we present successful infiltration of PEDOT into 3D colloidal templates by electrochemical polymerization. The larger surface area from 3D structures compared to that of a planar film significantly enhances the switching speed by increasing the efficiency of electrochromic processes. |
