Preparation of nanocarrier with amphiphilic polymers for centella asiatica |

There have been many studies to develope efficient systems for the site specific delivery of drugs using appropriate carrier systems. Therefore we used centella asiatica for drugs and amphiphilic polymers for carrier systems. Amphiphilic polymers composed of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)s and ε-caprolactone were prepared with a various molar ratio. In order to compare the size of nanocarriers, we synthesized polymers using different molecular weights(2000 and 5000). The products were analyzed by FT-IR spectra and DSC measurements for the thermal behaviour of the copolymers on their composition. The compositions and molecular weights of the products were determined by 1H-NMR spectroscopy and GPC measurement. We confirmed the size and release behavior of liposomes as well. |
