Effect of porous h-BN for high dispersion of transition metal oxides in selective catalytic reduction catalyst |
초록 |
Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst is necessarily needed because the regulations of atmospheric pollutants have been tightened in the field of stationary source such as a power plant due to flue gases containing the nitrogen oxide (NOX) into harmless gases. The aggregation of the catalyst naturally degrades the NOX removal efficiency, therefore, highly dispersed nanoparticles on the support are required to avoid the performance degradation in SCR. Modifying the surface is possible to improve the dispersion of catalytic active materials, and one of the typical process is the etching for the pores generation. The hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) was etched by using cobalt precursor, and then catalysts with transition metal oxides (TMO) were synthesized with the etched h-BN. Additionally, the surface zeta-potential is controlled to be further modified. In the case of adopting both two process, the synergic effect leads to making the swift improvement of performance. |
