제목 PPP (Platelet-Poor Plasma)-immobilized porous film as a Hemostatic Agent
초록 Bleeding is one of the leading causes of death in trauma patients, and death occurs when the amount of bleeding exceeds 40% of the total blood volume. In recent years, various hemostatic agents based on polymeric biomaterials are commonly adapted in clinical fields to manage bleeding. Platelet-poor plasma (PPP) containing a lot of blood clotting factors is also used as a hemostatic agent. We expect that if the PPP can be adsorbed on surface with large surface area, it will maximize the effect of hemostasis. Therefore, the main aim of this study is to develop a PPP-immobilized high porous film with leaf-stacked structure and to confirm the feasibility of the film as a hemostatic agent.
