제목 Study of the flow mark ininjection molding of PP/rubber and PP/talc composite
초록 Flow mark is a kind of surface defect that can arise during the filling stage of the injection molding process. The materials used in this experiment were PP/rubber and PP/talc compounding, which were widely used for automobile part. The flow mark had two different surface structures, such as the high gloss part and the low gloss part, alternately on the both surface. It was obvious that the high gloss part shows the smoother surface from the surface analysis of the article. The surface morphology of the high gloss part was quite different from that of the low gloss part. We investigated the surface morphology of PP/rubber and PP/talc composite by using SEM, OM. Also we characterized the surface of composites with flow mark by using Gloss meter and Alpha-step. From this experiment, we can see the surface morphology shows the different smoothness along the flow direction and we can also quantitatively measure the flow mark length percentage.
