제목 Preparation and Properties of CdS Nanoparticles Stabilized by Sulfonated Polystyrene
초록 CdS nanoparticles have been prepared by using sulfonated polystyrene (SPS). CdS nanoparticles could be obtained by the reaction of SPS with CdCl2 and Na2S in toluene. Transparent solution of CdS/SPS in toluene exhibited absorption max. at 400 nm in uv spectrum. Upon excitation with a light of 400 nm, an emission band maximized at 470 nm was observed from fluorescence spectrum. The λ max. of the emission band from CdS nanoparticles is considerably blue-shifted relative to the emission onset of bulk CdS (515 nm), indicating the formation of nanosized CdS particles (~5 nm). Transparent thin films could be prepared from the CdS/SPS solution. The films showed photocurrent of 1.8 μA/cm upon exposure to a light source of 365 nm. The structure of CdS in SPS nanocomposite was further characterized by TEM.
