Polyaniline (PANI) is an interesting electrically conducting polymer with special properties. Recently, the crystallinity of conducting PANI has been in the focus of research. Thus, in this work, we have improved the crystallinity of PANI through the coordination with metal ion. The molecular ordering was controlled by varying the ratio of PANI having nitrogen atom and different metal ions with solvent vapor annealing. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was used to confirm the presence of coordination PANI with metal ion. The 3-dimensional crystal structures at molecular-level were investigated by using high voltage electron microscope and X-ray diffraction. Finally, the conductivity of the PANI was improved according to increasing its ordered crystal structure in the molecular level. It is expected that this method can be applied for organic electronic devices and battery to solve the problem which make decrease charge carrier mobility, and efficiency device. |
