제목 Control of a pH neutralization process using Extremum Seeking Control
초록 The pH neutralization process is used in many chemical and biological processes and it is important to control the process to obtain the desired pH value in such processes. It is difficult to control the process because of the high sensitivity in the vicinity of the neutralization point. Therefore, using PI controller does not show enough performance in pH neutralization process. In previous study, the Gain Scheduling method was used to solve this problem, but many parameters was required. In this study, to improve control performance of pH neutralization process the Extremum Seeking Control was used. This Extremum Seeking Control was developed to drive the set-point to the extremum values of an process. A significant improvement was achieved when using Extremum Seeking Control than Gain Scheduling.
