Porous polyaniline nucleated on carbon nanodots for high-performance counter electrodes in dye-sensitized solar cells |
초록 |
Highly porous polyaniline (PANI) were prepared using carbon nanodots (CNDs) as a nucleating agent for polymerization. During the polymerization process, CNDs inhibited undesirable growth reactions leading to the formation of an agglomerated polymer structure. Polyaniline nucleated on carbon nanodots (PANI-CND) possessed a large Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area (43.6 m2 g−1) and the fabricated PANI-CND films exhibited an increased electrical conductivity of ca. 774 S cm−1. Dye-sensitized solar cells based on PANI-CND counter electrodes (CEs) showed a power conversion efficiency of 7.45 %, which is superior to those based on conventional platinum (η= 7.37%) and pristine PANI CEs (η= 5.60%). |
