제목 Study on properties of nylon 46/6 copolymer introduced polyethylene oxide (PEO)
초록 In this study, PEO oligomer, which has molecular weight of 1000 was introduced for a polymerization of Nylon 46/6 copolymer. The PEO oligomer was adjusted to 10%, 15%, and 20% by weight. All monomers were stirred at 210℃ for 1hr before a polymerization. Thereafter, temperature was raised to 250℃ and a polymerization was carried out for 2hr. When water content was measured at 30℃ and 65% RH, it was confirmed that water content in copolymer was improved as the proportion of PEO oligomer was increased. In addition, contact angle with water was 35.2° when 20% of PEO oligomer was added, and the contact angle was 50.1° when 10% was added. As a result, it was found that moisture characteristic of the copolymer was improved as the amount of PEO oligomer was increased.
