제목 Efficient Separation of Succinic Acid by Salting-out
초록 Succinic acid is widely used as a four-carbon platform chemical and produced from petroleum and renewable resources. Purification method of bio-based succinic acid is important for an economical design. Among purification method, crystallization has an advantage of high purity of products with less energy consumption. In this work, salting-out crystallization was conducted to get high yields of succinic acid after cooling out crystallization. Salts which have high solubility in water are injected into saturated succinic acid aqueous solution to determine salting-out effect. These salts increase amount of recovered succinic acid. The effect of those salts and salting-out time were measured. From this study, proper salts and operating conditions were determined and succinic acid was recovered with reasonable yield
