제목 Properties of Roll-to-Roll Gravure Printed Silver Gate Electrode on Polymer Foils for Electronics Applications
초록 Roll to roll printing method has been considered as the most practical way of manufacturing the printed electronics because of using in-line production process on the same substrates with various inks. It has very useful application areas, not only RFID tag but also flexible display, solar cell, battery and so on. In this work systematically estimates the properties of gate electrode such as thickness, roughness, morphology and typical resistance. The optimized gate electrode with 300μm of constant patterns with parabolic morphologies, 250nm of thickness, 100nm of surface roughness and clear edge were R2R printable on PET foils with printing speed of 12m/min and roll pressure 2.0MPa by using silver based nano ink with viscosity of 350cP. The result indicates that the printed gate electrode has a strong dependency on the ink viscosity, roll speed, while the shape of gravure groove has negligible effect.
