제목 Silver-deposited Hollow Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles and Its Antibacterial Property
초록 Silver-deposited monodisperse hollow mesoporous silica (Ag-HMS) nanoparticles were synthesized using cationic colloidal polymeric nanospheres which were prepared by surfactant-free emulsion copolymerization of styrene and butyl acrylate in the presence of a cationic monomer, methacryloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride. HMS nanoparticles were prepared by using CTAB and TEOS as a structure-directing agent, followed by calcination of polymer core and CTAB at high temperature. The surface modification of these HMS nanoparticles were conducted by (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane and Ag nanoparticles were successively doped onto these surface-modified HMS by silver perchlorate. The Ag-HMS nanoparticles exhibited antibacterial property against E.coli. 100 μg/mL of Ag-HMS nanoparticles caused about 90% inhibition of E.coli growth.
