제목 Preparation of Polypyrrole-Carbon Nanotube Composites
초록 Carbon nanotubes are an important class of novel materials with outstanding properties such as a high aspect ratio, high electrical conductivity, high chemical, and thermal stability. Therefore, many attempts have been made to explore the potential of enhancing the properties of different polymer materials by forming nanocomposites with these carbon allotropes. Polypyrrole is an interesting conducting polymer that has been investigated intensely. Interestingly, there are only a few reports on composites of polypyrrole and carbon nanotubes. We report on the synthesis of polypyrrole-carbon nanotube composites in solution and on the investigation of their electronic and optical properties. In addition, the characterization was complemented by SEM, TGA, and PL measurements.
