Structural properties of anisotropic pitch-based carbon materials according to fluorine functional groups via direct fluorination |
초록 |
We prepared mesophase pitch-based carbon materials through heat treatment and conducted direct fluorination to investigate structural changes according to differences in structure and conditions of direct fluorination. Direct fluorination was conducted with a fluorine partial pressure of F2:N2=1:9 and 9:1 (F1 and F9 conditions) at room temperature. When samples were treated under F9 conditions, fluorine was introduced at a maximum of 28 wt% of MP and H500 with a high H/C mole ratio. Additionally, the structures of MP-F9 and H500-F9 collapsed and changed to structures such as graphite fluoride. In addition, their thermal stability substantially decreased. However, the structure and thermal stability of H1000-F9 were maintained because fluorine minimally reacted with the compound in H1000 with a low H/C mole ratio. This difference is attributed to the difference in reactivity based on the structural differences according to the H/C mole ratios of the materials. |
