제목 Novel 3D Porous Polymer Scaffolds by Gas Foaming Method Using Hydrogen Peroxide for Tissue Regeneration
초록 Solid hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) compounds, such as urea hydrogen peroxide and sodium percarbonate are well-known commercial products as a bleaching agent, antiseptic and disinfectant. In this study, novel 3D PLGA scaffolds were fabricated using gas forming technique with hydrogen peroxide as a novel porogen. To our best knowledge, no studies have yet been taken advantage of hydrogen peroxide in the preparation of polymeric scaffolds for tissue regeneration. We hypothesize that this method should be useful in making 3D porous scaffolds. The physical and mechanical properties of the resultant scaffolds were investigated and the results were compared with those of the conventional methods.
