제목 Effect of Silver Nanoparticles on the Performance of P3HT:PCBM Bulk Hetrerojunction Photovoltaic Cells
초록 Silver nanoparticles were incorporated into the bulk heterojunction system of P3HT:PCBM to improve the performance of P3HT:PCBM bulk heterojunction photovoltaic cells. The reaction of dodecaneamine and silver perchlorate in THF at room temperature produced Ag(I)-N12 polymer with a highly-ordered supramolecular structure which converted into silver nanoparticles during thermal treatment at 150oC in various times, depending on the size and shape needed for the specific applications. The adequate amount of the Ag(I)-N12 polymer are incorporated in two distinct places within the bulk heterojunction system of P3HT:PCBM. The performance of organic solar cells was carefully investigated in the respect of the scattering and localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPR) that couple strongly to the incident light.
