제목 Hyaluronic Acid Multilayer Films Capturing Nanocarriersfor Drug Delivery Platforms
초록 We demonstrate the biodegradable hyaluronic acid(HA) multilayer films capturing nanocarriers(NC). The electrostatic interaction between polyethylene imine and HA provides the driving force for layer-by-layer assembly and the encapsulation property of HA enables the films to effectively contain NCs in optimized condition. NC amount captured in the multilayer films was controlled by altering the bilayer number of multilayers, chain length and chain number of HA. Prepared films exhibit good biocompatibility, showing gradual degradation in physiological condition. To confirm that this platform would be effective in cardiovascular applications such as stents, we produced bioactive HA platform capturing pacitaxel NCs. This platform was shown to successfully prevent the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells. The results demonstrated represent the facile incorporation and controlled release of various active drugs, leading to useful platforms such as biocompatible implantations.
