Inhibitory Effects of Probiotic Lactobacillus ssp. on Adipocyte Differentiation and Lipid Productivity |

Many studies of probiotics with anti-obesity effects have been reported. But, it is difficult to know which species of probiotics is good relatively, and rare to explain through multi-omics analysis how the change is performed. In this study, the anti-obesity effects of various species of probiotics are compared and screened, and the changes are examined through multi-omics-based analysis. The selected probiotics, probiotic Lactobacillus spp. showed a higher inhibitory effect on lipid production and, Most cells maintained preadipocyte phenotype. Through the analysis of results of mRNA expression, metabolite, and proteins, it was observed that lipid metabolism, including lipogenesis and lipolysis, was inhibited. These result showed that probiotic Lactobacillus spp. inhibit adipogenesis in adipocyte and may be used as a potential probiotic candidate to improve obesity. |
