제목 Effect of Improving Interfacial Bonding Strength of Carbon Fibers and NBR on the Residual Stress and the Mechanical Properties of Carbon Fibers/NBR Composites 
초록 In this study, the introduction of the silane on the carbon fiber surfaces was performed for improving interfacial adhesions between the carbon fibers and the polar NBR. The morphological changes of silane-treated carbon fibers were observed through SEM, and the changes of functional groups and elemental composition ratio on the fiber surfaces were examined using FT-IR and XPS, respectively. In addition, the interfacial bonding force between the carbon fibers and the NBR was confirmed by the theoretical work of adhesion which was calculated by the polar and the non-polar components of the carbon fiber and NBR. And, the effects of interfacial bonding strength on the mechanical properties and the residual stress of carbon fibers/NBR composites were investigated as compared to the analytic result value.
