제목 Control of Lateral Ordering and Vertical Orientation inPS-b-PDMA Block Copolymer Thin Films
초록 PS-b-PEO block copolymer system, we have been shown that hydrophilic PEO block forms the cylindrical microdomains, exhibit the perfect lateral ordering with the vertically oriented microdomains via solvent annealing process. In this system, relative humidity plays a crucial role to control the lateral ordering and vertical orientation of microdomain. It implies that the interaction between the water and the hydrophilic block induces such morphologies. In this work, we expand this idea to the other hydrophilic blocks, such as PDMA. We could control the morphologies of the PDMA microdomain depending on the relative humidity. At the high relative humidity, the cylindrical PDMA domain with vertical orientation with the good lateral ordering was achieved. Furthermore, the facile synthesis of such system via CLRP can be used to design many useful block copolymer templates. For example, a ternary amine group in the PDMA can used to the stabilizer of the various metallic compounds such as Au.
