bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic photovoltaics (OPVs) has attracted attention in academia and industry because of their potential application in solar cells solution processes. In designing materials for polymer solar cells it is well established that apart from the chemical structure, which determines the energy levels, the morphology of the photoactive donor−acceptor blend plays a crucial role. The blend morphology is determined by the chemical structure and by the processing conditions used to cast the layers. benzo[2,1-b;3,4-b']dithiophene (BDP) is well used donor unit in high performance polymers at present. Because it have many advantages which are long π conjugation length, low HOMO level and high charge carrier mobility. Benzo[1,2,5]thiadiazole (BT) is one of the stronger electron withdrawing moieties used widely in PSCs due to a combination of its electron accepting propertie. In this study, we synthesized BDP and BT based copolymer and investigated their PSCs property. |
