Thermal degradation and alation behaviors of organic-inorganic hybrid composites composed of PU and POSS |
| 초록 |
In this study, PU/POSS hybrid composites were prepared by a one-step bulk polymerization. After the major thermal decomposition, the composites produced a thermally stable ceramic char layer under thermooxidative condition. The ceramic char layer was clearly observed after the ablation test using oxyacetylene torch, resulting in compact multiple layers of spherical particles with 30~50 nm diameter, which is consistent with the size of POSS crystal domain formed in PU/POSS composites. |
