Inherent safety is technique for designing safer process, which maximize safety of process. This technique give insight about process risk and strategies for reduction of risk in early stages of process design. However, this technique is applied after design is complete in that stages. So, if there are some risky aspect in that design, after the analysis, process is changed to reduce risk. Then inherent safety technique is applied again, and these steps have to be repeated. For solving this limitation, this study proposes method considering safety(or risk) and process(or efficiency) simultaneously. This method is applied in ORC process, called by organic Rankine cycle, which is viable technology to make power using low temperature heat. As a result, multi-objective optimization method is used for optimal design considering safety aspect and process aspect. |
