제목 Site-Selective Multi-Stacked Assembly of Silver Nanoparticles on Micro-Contact Printed Amine-Functionalized Patterns: Comparative Studies for Role of Electrostatic Interaction and Meniscus
초록 We describes a facile wet methodology to fabricating patterned, multi-layered Ag nanoparticle assemblies is demonstrated by using a combination of microcontact printing(CP), electrostatic interaction and site-selective wetting driven self-assembly. Three kinds of self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) such as 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES), octadecyltrichlorosilane(OTS) and hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) are printed on a SiO2/Si substrate by using CP. In particular, APTES with positive charged amine group acts as a preferential deposition site due to strong electrostatic interaction with the Ag NPs capped with negatively charged poly(acrylicacid) (PAA). The evaporation-induced colloidal self-assembly produces Ag micropatterns with a thickness of ~700 nm, as thick as 35-layered nanoparticle assembly, without the necessity of other procedures such as surface sensitization, plating, and etching. The patterned Ag NPs line patterns show a highly conductive nature with a resistance of 7.3 Ω.
