제목 Miscibility and thermal proeprties of PC/PTT/PBAT blends
초록 PTT is a new type of polyester, which is bio-based polymer derived from biomass resource. The two monomer units used in producing this polymer are: PDO and terephthalic acid or dimethyl terephthalate. In recent years, companies such as DuPont are investing in the biological production of PDO using renewable feedstocks such as corn. PC, a kind of engineering plastic, has good mechanical properties, but is difficult to process due to high melt viscosity and offers low chemical resistance. PC/polyester blends can react by transesterification in the molten state. The random copolymer formed by transesterification leads to miscible in the PTT/PC blends. For high transesterification rates, lots of study performed annealing method. In this study, PBAT is introduced as compatibilizer to the PTT/PC blends.. The PC/PTT/PBAT blends were prepared with a twin-screw extruder. Also, it measured by FE-SEM, DSC, DMA and TGA. As a result, The PC/PTT/PBAT blends show partially miscible system.
