제목 Organic Base Promoted Fabrication of Silver Nanoparticle (Ag NP)-coated Silica Nano Spheres for Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering
초록 Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) has received a great deal of attention for its potential applications as sensitive analytical tools. SERS effect mainly depends on the physical properties of metal nanoparticles such as their size, shape, and plasmon resonance frequency. Thus, synthesis of SERS substrates is needed to acquire uniform and reproducible SERS peaks. In this study, we fabricated Ag NP-coated silica nano spheres as SERS active substrate by using organic amine without heating and compared their SERS properties. And we applied our fabrication method successfully for preparing different size of Ag NP-coated silica nano spheres from various sized silica core (ca. 50-500nm).
