제목 Sulfonated hydrocarbon based composite membranes using perfluoro polymer grafted graphene oxide for water electrolysis applications
초록 Polymer composite membranes were prepared using Perfluoro sulfonated polymer-grafted graphene oxide (N-GO) and sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) (SPAES) for polymer electrolyte membrane water electrolysis applications. N-GO was fabricated by atomic transfer radical adhesion reaction between graphene oxide (GO) and perfluoro sulfonated polymer. Composite membrane having 1 wt% N-GO compared the polymer shows better physical strength and proton conductivity was greatly improved than pristine SPAES membranes. The membrane electrode assembly (MEA) water electrolysis cell test employing the N-GO composite membrane revealed outstanding performance (1.43 A/cm2 in 1.6 V). In addition, accelerated stress test showed excellent cell durability.
