제목 | Synthesis and Physical Properties of Optically Clear Adhesives based on Acrylate polymer |
초록 | Acrylic adhesives were mostly chosen as Optically clear adhesives (OCAs) due to their fast UV curability and excellent clarity and economical aspect. OCA were often used for bonding in the capacitive touch panel assembly. The OCA may be used in transfer tape format to fill the air gap between the display substrates. However, the results of such acrylic OCA derivatives are for mainly rigid, britles and low molecular weight. To achieve flexibility and increasing molecular weight by adopting two different approaches : use of acrylic acid derivatives in the polymeric matrix and in the crosslinker. This study synthesized copolymers composed of 2-EHA, 2-HEA and acrylic acid derivatives which are typical optical acrylic adhesive components, to examine the molecular weight and mechanical properties. |
