제목 EnhancedGastrointestinal Photodynamic Therapy by Cancer Targeting-Ligand linked Hydrophilic Photosensitizer​
초록 PhotodynamicTherapy (PDT) using photosensitizer (PS) and transform near-infrared (NIR) lightis a remarkable treatment for gastrointestinal (GI) cancer because of its localaction and low side effects. However, common PSs have low PDT effect due topoor hydrophilic and targeting ability. To solve these problems, we proposecancer targeting-ligand linked hydrophilic PS (CHPS) which have cancertargeting ligand and hydrophilic region as a linker. In study, we confirmsynthesis of CHPS through agarose gel electrophoresis, MALDI-TOF. We have demonstratedthat CHPS is more effective in PDT than conventional PSs using Ex vivofluorescent images and TUNEL assay. As a result, we show that CHPS with highwater solubility and cancer targeting ability overcomes traditional PSslimitations and improved therapeutic effects. Also, it can show the possibilitynot only to cancer but also to other diseases.
