In order to find a alternative catalysts, which can be more resistant coke formation, perovskite type catalyst of La1-xSrxCr1-yRuyO3-δ(0.1≤x≤0.5, 0.05≤y≤0.15) for propane steam reforming has been investigated. Samples were synthesized by citric acid and EDTA using sol-gel method. Catalytic activity studies were performed using fixed-bed quartz reactor and reaction product analyzed by GC. To evaluate the characteristics of catalysts, physicochemical methods (XRD, BET, H2-TPR) were used. Carbon formations after reaction were analyzed by TGA methods. The highest steam reforming efficiency was observed when strontium and ruthenium substituted 20 % and 15 % respectively. |
